Who Am I?

Howdy, I’m Brody. I’m a screenwriter based out of southern Wisconsin that is looking to explore more of the world through my writing. I enjoy writing about different cultures and ways of life, currently my favorite culture to write about would have to be East-Asian. In my writing I put a heavy focus on the people and world, trying to make them feel alive and jumping off the page. You’re probably wondering why I write, what drives me to wake up every morning and sit down in front of the daunting blank page? Well it’s simple really, it’s because I love it. Do you really need another reason besides that? It’s like asking a chef why they cook or a painter why they paint. They all love it, they love every aspect of it, and I’m the same way for writing. Now don’t get me wrong I do have certain messages that I want to push using my scripts as the vessel, like self love and never giving up to name a few, but at the end of the day what I’m trying to do is entertain people. There is so much stress and anxiety caused by everyday life, so I want to create something that people can go home to and use as an escape from all their troubles and worries. I love writing, but I love helping people relax and feel better about themselves a whole lot more.
